Kamala Harris ran to the right in one of the most left-wing cities in America — what does that suggest about a Harris presidency?

My friend and former colleague Lee Fang has a piece up at The Intercept looking at California Democratic Senator Kamala Harris’s initial run for San Francisco District Attorney, where she ran to the right in one of the most left-wing cities in America to defeat a progressive incumbent.

Lee obtained some of the political propaganda that Harris used during her initial bid. It’s pretty aggressive:

Politicians’ worldviews are not static, of course. But it does beg the question. If Harris was comfortable running to the right in one of the most left-wing cities in America, what kind of political posture would she adopt if she was president governing a country that includes swing states like Florida, Ohio, Iowa, North Carolina?
